Take confidence knowing you are using a technology used by Automotive, Bus and Train Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) whilst complying with the latest Australian Standards.
More and more OEM’s are turning to the safety and security of MS Polymers (also known as Silyl Modified Polymers - SMP) as their specified product for OEM direct glazing applications. In October 2016, following a number of other OEM manufacturers, GM North American Engineering published specifications for bonding automotive glass in OEM applications using Silyl Modified Polymers.
Internationally and in Australia, there have been millions of successful applications in the auto windscreen replacement market proving the technology over the long term in many climatic conditions.
Merbenit SK212 is very reliable and does not require additional activators to achieve a structural bond making it safer and easy to use. It also meets the requirements of Safe Work Australia’s GHS to be labelling free as it does not contain isocyanates, solvents or other hazardous or dangerous components.
To provide safety for the autoglazier and end customer, reduce risk and make sure your chosen product does not require activators, does not contain isocyanates and has proven crash test certification to US FMVSS 212 at minimum.

Merbenit SK212 provides many safety features for users and their customers;
